Welcome to my little blog, thanks for stopping by. Please look around and enjoy yourself.
Today is White Day in Japan. Yep, as you guessed everyone in Japan wears white on the same day. Tomorrow it will be all black. And the day after is pink. Really? No, just kidding. There should be a pink day though as many Japanese girls love pink. I am always amused that some men refuse to wear pink anything. I suppose white shirts are manly but how many days can you wear white shirts?
Anyway, in Japan they celebrate Valentines Day but only the boys get presents. On White Day the girls give presents to the boys. On White Day the most popular item to give is chocolate but jewelry and other exciting gifts are most welcome.
The history of Valentines Day is something many of you probably know. White Day was created in 1978 by the National Confectionery Industry Association. I doubt you will be shocked to learn that white chocolate is for sale everywhere.
And no, I didn't forget today is White Day.
Peace & Love,

That's very interesting. So how come they don't celebrate it on the Valentine's Day? Thanks for sharing interesting Japanese culture!
